Honourable Mayors, city representatives, dear colleagues.
Traditionally, the International Association of Peace Messenger Cities partakes in the international event, organized by the Volgograd Administration. This year the event will be held from October 31 – November 1, 2021. Following the invitation from our presiding member city, the Hero City of Volgograd, we kindly propose participating in the online event, which will be held on October 31, 2021, from 16.00 – 17.30 (Moscow time, UTC+3). The first discussion, “Cities as Peace Messengers”, will be co-hosted by the IAPMC, allowing us to continue the online meeting by holding the annual General Assembly, which was decided at the Executive Board Meeting on August 20, 2021.
In this regard, we would also like to extend the invitation to all the city representatives to come forward regarding availability and interest in participating as expert speakers on October 31.
Also, kindly register for online participation at the General Assembly, held on October 31, from 15.30 – 17.00 (Central European DST time).
We are looking forward to your cooperation and preparing to plan future events of the IAPMC, not only online, but also in person, in anticipation of lifted travel restrictions due to Covid-19 pandemics.
